Árpád Czapp is a horticultural engineer, oenologist, and lawyer who completed his
university studies in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with additional academic experience in
Bordeaux, France. With more than 15 years of winemaking experience, he is the
owner and winemaker of Czapp Winery and the co-founder and CEO of Wine Inspires
Media, collaborating with leading global organizations across the wine industry, such
as ProWein, Coravin, UGCB, InVintory, and Frolight. In addition to his work in the
wine and media sectors, he served as a parliamentary advisor in the Romanian
Parliament, where he worked with the House of Deputies' committees on education,
public administration, and agriculture. He also acts as an international wine judge,
having served on the tasting panels for the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (Red &
White Session) and the Sauvignon Selection.
