József Kovács has been working as a sommelier for 30 years, during which time he has gained extensive experience in the fields of hospitality and wine culture. As a founding member of the Hungarian Sommelier Association, he has actively contributed to the development of the sommelier profession in Hungary, and for the past 10 years hehas served on the professional judging panel of the Hungarian Sommelier Championship. "For 22 years, I worked as a sommelier at a downtown Italian restaurant, where Italian and international wines, as well as food-wine pairings, played a prominent role, and in 2007, I served as the sommelier to the U.S. President. Currently, I am the sommelier at Champion Wine Bar and Restaurant 27, where I remain committed to delivering a high-quality wine and dining experience."
