Ambrus Mátyás is the sommelier of Haris Park and Bobo Restaurant. His professional philosophy is to ensure that the outstanding wines of smaller Hungarian wineries receive the recognition they deserve alongside the labels of long-established wineries representing international trends. "I consider the preservation of the autochthonous grape varieties of the Carpathian Basin especially important, as well as introducing their unique values to our guests and helping them appreciate these traditions. My father, Lajos Ambrus, was honoured with the “Friend of Winemakers” award in 2024. Through my work, I strive to represent and uphold the values he embodies in a worthy manner."
